Wine Tours Barossa Valley | Explore Top Wineries

Coachstar Australia provides a memorable & awesome experience in wine tasting tours to the famous Barossa Valley departing from Adelaide. The tour is a fantastic way to taste some of Australia’s finest wine and produce, as well as seeing the beauty of this world renowned picturesque region.

After winding our way through the scenic Adelaide Hills, our first stop is Gumeracha*, home to the World’s Largest Rocking Horse. It boasts  Australia’s only remaining wooden toy factory & cafe. You can handfeed the remarkably tame kangaroos, alpacas & goats.

Williamstown, the gateway to the Barossa, we visit the amazing *Whispering Wall. The dam wall is as tall as a nine storey building and constructed in a perfect semicircle over 110 years ago. It’s possible to hear someone whisper from one end of the dam wall to the other end 140 metres away.

As the vine leaves replace the gum trees, we enter the Barossa Valley.

With a rich vine and wine history dating back to 1842, The Barossa Valley is one of the most historic wine producing regions in Australia. The Barossa features more than 80 cellar doors.

Our first winery stop is the world famous Jacob’s Creek, the largest wine exporter in the valley. A local guide will provide an informative explanation of their wines and offer a selection of their famous shiraz, merlot and rosé for tasting.  

We then arrive at Kies Winery for Lunch. Kies is a family owned boutique winery where the setting is unique and the service is personal. Their exquisite wines are not available for sale anywhere else in the world. 

We then depart for Wolf Blass wines. 

This world renowned winery created in 1966 is one of the world’s most awarded wine brands. We will get the chance to taste their wide range of wines before we visit our next winery, Lambert Estate a family owned business that made their name thanks to their Chocolate port. We then stop at Menglers Hill lookout for a fantastic view of the Barossa Valley before returning back to Adelaide. We arrive in Adelaide at approximately 5pm.
